The Round 17 Workshop begins the project implementation process.
It will be held from 10:00 a.m..- noon on January 14, 2010,
at the ADOT Auditorium, 206 South 17th Avenue, Phoenix.

- Civil rights compliance
- Environmental, utility and right of way clearances
- The federal-aid development process
Attendance
Attendance to the Round 17 Workshop is mandatory
for all successful Round 17 project sponsors unless the sponsoring
agency assign project management and development to individuals
experienced in the federal-aid and ADOT Project Development
Process. Those in attendance should be project managers and
individuals who would be directly involved in day-to-day decisions
on the project.
Before the Workshop
Prior to the workshop, project sponsors are asked to contact
their Metropolitan Planning Organization / Council of Government
representative and request inclusion of their State or Local
project into the Transportation Improvement Plan.
After the Workshop
Following the workshop, and once the local agency's design
and environmental consultant is on board for project scoping,
the ADOT Transportation Enhancement Project Manager should be
contacted about setting up the initial project kick-off meeting.
In order to meet the three-year development process, this meeting
should be held in spring 2010. The ADOT project manager will
lead the team through the project development process and will
be there for you each step of the way.
