ONGOING RESTRICTIONS
- Waddell Road remains closed in both directions between Loop 303 and Sarival Avenue through summer 2012 for bridge construction. DETOUR: Use Cactus or Greenway roads. For a unique glimpse at how this bridge is being constructed using a soffit fit, watch our video.
Thomas Rd. to Peoria Ave.
Construction is scheduled to begin on two additional sections of Loop 303 by this summer: 1. Between Thomas and Camelback roads; and 2. Between Glendale and Peoria avenues. Crews are now relocating utilities on these stretches of Loop 303 and the following closures/restrictions are scheduled:
- Loop 303 closed in both directions between Northern and Glendale avenues from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (May 21). DETOUR: Use Reems Rd or Cotton Lane.
- Loop 303 closed intermittently in both directions at Camelback Rd. from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday (May 19). Delays up to 15 minutes possible. Watch for police and flaggers directing traffic.
- ATTENTION: Construction of the Northern Parkway is underway in this area! The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is now building the Northern Parkway on the Butler Road alignment between Dysart Road and Sarival Avenue, and some local street closures/restrictions are planned. ADOT recommends you review MCDOT's Northern Parkway information on line for the most current news and for information about possible impacts near the work zone.
Construction between Camelback Road and Glendale Avenue is scheduled to begin later in 2012. Details will be provided as they become available.
Loop 303/Interstate 10 Interchange

Eastbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane between Jackrabbit Trail and Cotton Lane 9 p.m. Monday (May 14) to 4 a.m. Tuesday (May 15) for work related to the I-10/303 T.I. project.

Heavy volume of construction traffic, including large trucks, on McDowell Road between Clubhouse Drive and Loop 303 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning April 9 through early-May for the I-10/303 T.I. project. Obey speed limit and expect delays.
- Loop 303 narrowed to one lane in both directions between I-10 and Indian School Road through April for truck haul. Expect delays for merging traffic.
ONGOING RESTRICTIONS
Sarival Avenue and Citrus Road closed in both directions between McDowell Road and Van Buren Street through late-summer 2012 for construction of on/off ramps at Interstate 10. Detour: Use Cotton Lane as an alternative. See map for details.
Cotton Lane closed in both directions between Indian School and Thomas roads through Saturday (June 23). DETOUR: Use Loop 303.
Thomas Road closed in both directions between Cotton Lane and Loop 303 through Saturday (June 23). DETOUR: Use Indian School Road.
